A partner in the firm, Matthew X. Kelley concentrates his practice in real estate, both commercial and residential, civil and commercial litigation, personal injury, product liability and workers' compensation areas. He is a 1993 cum laude graduate of The Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan and passed the Illinois Bar that year. His undergraduate work was completed at Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois. Matthew Kelley has received American Jurisprudence Awards for Torts II, Sales and Negotiable Instruments, Professional Responsibility and Research and Writing. He has served as associate editor of The Thomas M. Cooley Law Review . He is a member of the Northwest Suburban Bar Association. Matthew Kelley has represented hundreds of Northwest Suburban residents in the purchase and sale of their homes. His representation has made the transition caused by a sale or purchase of a home an easy and ultimately satisfying experience. Matthew Kelley has prosecuted a wide range of civil cases including personal injury, product liability and numerous contractual matters. Mr. Kelley has recently negotiated a settlement in excess of $500,000 in a medical malpractice case. He has successfully prosecuted a wrongful death action involving a fatal heart attack as well as a medical malpractice action involving failure to warn. His extensive background in personal injury and workers' compensation has proven to be a tremendous benefit to the firm's clientele. Dedicated to gaining an in-depth knowledge of each client, Matthew Kelley provides practical advice and realistic solutions while vigorously pursuing his clients' interests. Matthew Kelley's dedication to service in his community is exemplified by him serving as an active member and director of the Streamwood Chamber of Commerce.
