William F. Kelley, the managing partner, has been recognized by his peers in the legal community to have achieved the highest level of professional excellence. He has received the coveted "AV" rating from Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating allowed and a testament to his preeminence in the legal field. William Kelley concentrates his practice in transactional law, commercial, business and corporate areas, estate and succession planning, asset protection, civil and commercial litigation.

William Kelley completed his Juris Doctor cum laude at Loyola University of Chicago, in 1980, where he graduated in the top 2% of his class. He served as an Associate Editor on the editorial board of the Loyola University Law Journal and received the American Jurisprudence Award in 1980. He also earned his baccalaureate degree cum laude at Loyola University of Chicago. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1980. Shortly after being admitted to practice in Illinois, he accepted a prestigious clerkship with the Louisiana Supreme Court from 1981 to 1982. In 1982, he returned to private practice in the State of Illinois.

His extensive transactional and commercial law experience and prudent counsel have proven to be a tremendous benefit to the firm's business clientele. He has provided a broad range of experience in employment law matters, non-competition agreements, asset purchase agreements, stock repurchase agreements, commercial property development, lease negotiations, profit sharing plans, joint ventures, business formations and dissolutions, and tax related issues. His counsel has been instrumental in facilitating the acquisition, sale and transfer of multi-million dollar business ventures while minimizing the tax ramifications thereof.

William Kelley has prosecuted and tried a wide range of civil cases including products liability, discrimination, fraud, personal injury and numerous contractual matters. Mr. Kelley commanded a $2.2 Million settlement in a wrongful death action he successfully prosecuted. He has also negotiated recoveries exceeding $500,000 in both products liability and medical malpractice claims.

William Kelley's numerous professional and civic memberships reflect his energy and vision. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Northwest Suburban Bar Association, and Federal Trial Bar. Bill currently serves as co-chair of the Bench-Bar Committee and is on the Board of Governors to the Northwest Suburban Bar Association. Bill is also an active member of the Northwest Suburban Estate Planning Council as well as the Estate Planning Committee and Judicial Review Committee to the Northwest Suburban Bar Association.

Bill has served as an elected Trustee to the Harper College Board since 2003 and currently holds the office of Secretary. He is also active in the Illinois Community College Trustees Association(ICCTA) where he currently serves as Chair of the Public Policy and Governmental Relations Committee.

Bill has served as a founding board member of the Schaumburg Business Association and the Schaumburg Prairie Center Arts Foundation. He has also served on the Executive Board of the Northwest Suburban Council of the Boy Scouts of America, St. Hubert School Board, St. Hubert Finance Board, and the St. Viator Alumni Board. He is past Board Chair of the Kenneth Young Center serving seniors and mentally disabled individuals in the Schaumburg and Elk Grove communities. Bill also serves on the Advisory Board to the Northwest Suburban Council of the Boy Scouts of America and on their Endowment Committee. Additionally, he serves on the Legislative Advisory Committee to the Schaumburg Business Association. Bill is also a Board Member of the Schaumburg Park Foundation.
